"It was a really nice hotel apart from the noise. They have music playing in the bar until gone midnight and it was very loud. Strangely it wasn't too bad in the living area but the bedroom area was awful so we slept really badly. We also had people talking loudly below our window and car horns tooting. "Always a wonderful stay here in this gorgeous Georgian Hotel. Very happy to accept our mini dachshund who was able to sit with us at breakfast. Staff were friendly and hospitable as per usual. Always there for anything but not unobtrusive. My wife had a anti aging facial in the spa and felt incredibly relaxed afterwards. The Superior room was spacious and perfect for our 3 night stay. A special mention for the shower which was possibly the best I have had in the UK. Maybe its the waters in Matlock Bath. They do say they are rejuvenating."
