"Beautiful area and perfectly walkable to a lot of the stuff we wanted to see. Lots of great eating spots between 5-20 mins of walking. It also felt less touristy than other parts of Florence which was great for us. Santa Croce is the not so hidden but less gross gem of Florence. The hotel itself is nice, clean and clean. Since the front desk is only open from 8:30 am - 8 pm we had a little bit of a panic trying to get a taxi to the airport at 8:30am on Wednesday morning when it wasn’t open...

"We had an amazing time at the Rivalta Hotel. My husband and I stayed in two different River View suites over a week, and both were equally amazing. The staff were phenomenal and went above and beyond for us. When we arrived we discovered that one of our suitcase locks was broken, and they sent someone up with tools to help us get in to it. We loved the breakfast each morning and rooftop patio. Very happy with our entire visit and will absolutely be back!"

"Beautiful property and a fabulous staff made the entire experience enjoyable. Staff assisted us in acquiring our tix to the Uffizi Gallery as well as to the Academia. They were helpful with questions and also offered to arrange taxi service if we chose not to walk on special occasion events. From the breakfast area to the cocktail hour ,housekeeping services and front desk everyone we encountered was helpful, pleasant and friendly. We would highly recommend the Orto De Medici to anyone and everyone. "
