"Property is pretty old. Customer staying in room are smoking outside non smoking room and leaving cigarettes on floor near door."

"We arrived for a late checkin and the front desk was very helpful and fast. The room however was disgusting and worn down. There were mustard splatters on the tables that weren’t cleaned. The room smelt of smoke even though it was non smoking. AC unit smells like it is saturated with cigarette smoke. Thankfully the beds were clean but the floors and bathtub looked disgusting. We were so exhausted so we didn’t bother trying to get a different room. "

"It was under construction (a surprise) ,and the power was out until 7pm. After we checked in, the key didn't work, so we got another one. Then, the toilet was not connected in the tank , so we had to have it fixed. It was reconnected only to stop working again. It needed a new flapper, so it never fully worked. Lastly, the noise from the top floor kept us awake throughout the night. "

"DO NOT STAY HERE! Kids were running in the hallway until 2am. Upstairs the walkway felt extremely unsecure. It felt like you were walking on simple plywood in the outdoor hallway. Our room had a slant to it. The bed was a thin mattress on a metal trundle. The bed had only ONE THIN SHEET on the bed. We had to request a blanket from the front desk. When we checked in the front desk clerk had both airpods in his ears and mouthed the words "your id" to me for check in. A car alarm went off in the parking lot for over an hour around 2am. The only thing pleasant was the AC Unit. I will definitely do my research better on my next hotel stay. DO NOT STAY HERE!"

"So I'm in agreement with a lot of the other reviews I read. For the price point it leaves a lot to be desired. First the positives, the staff at check in was absolutely fabulous, and through the evening brought me ice even though it was only enough for one drink , and also hand delivered my doordash order later. Wish I would of gotten the gals name. The lady in the morning during check out wasn't nearly as friendly or welcoming. Now the negatives, for the price point I'd expect to be able to go get ice as needed once the lounge closed no ice available and since the mini fridge didn't cool at all when I ordered a bag from the store it just melted. For parking you have to park in the public structure across the street and if you arrive during a busy time no place to park in front of the hotel for check in so you have to match your luggage across the street. Then March back over to put your pass in the dash to not be towed. Very limited channel selection. The porch/balcony is actually just the wall way where everyone gets to the rooms so you have people walking in front of you constantly. 11 o'clock check out but the maids start coming in your room at 945-10 a.m. also I think the boilers can't keep up with morning demand as the hot water just kept going completely off and coming back on. Mini fridge had last guest items still in it. I felt the same about the blue lantern in dana point but at least it had a view. "

"Convenient location (boring main road but near the small downtown area). Friendly staff and pretty grounds - it's several small buildings around a courtyard with pool and outdoor seating. The bathrooms and many furnishings are quite worn - it feels quite overdue for a refresh. "
