"Very friendly and welcoming boutique hotel. Excellent breakfast served each morning and the team were only too happy to recommend the best places to visit and eat. Rooms were spacious and clean, with classy decor throughout. Bed exceptionally comfortable, we slept better than we do at home. Coupled with a convenient location, near the Farmers Dog and centrally situated for exploring the wider Cotswolds area. We would certainly stay again."

"A great stay at this hotel. Lovely comfortable room, great staff and a delicious breakfast. Handy for Burford Village. Our visit was to visit The Farmer's Dog pub which is approx. 3 miles away. We used a local taxi firm and were charged £20 each way. Highly recommend this hotel. "

"The location was amazing however we felt the price was a little high for what you got. Having to pay an extra £25 per person per day to have access to the spa facilities, at a spa hotel is rediculous to be honest. And having to pay an extra £10 per person per day for a breakfast upgrade also felt a bit unfair, that being said the breakfast was 5* as nice as our stay was I’m not sure we would come back however I would recommend a visit"

"The Market Tavern is a little gem and a very welcome find! Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, nice room and bar / restaurant. The star of the show is the food which was superb. A small menu but this means everything is good quality. Prices are reasonable - and worth every penny. With many restaurants now asking £35-45 for a steak, my steak at the Market Tavern was just £24. Ok, it wasn't a fillet or a rib-eye, it was a rump (a so called inferior cut!) But the chef here knows that it's about the cooking and not the cut! Well cooked, tasty and satisfying - all at a great price! What more could you want! A clever move that will bring in the punters! The breakfast (included in the room rate) was also excellent. We have friends in the area and just needed an over night stay so this will definitely be our go to place when we're in the area. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend highly - we'll be back!"

"I stay in hotels all the time for work, so like to think I know my stuff. This hotel is brilliant, great price point and great value fro money. The staff excellent, couldn’t be more helpful and pleasant. Evening meal was very good and breakfast was 10/10. Room decor was nice, great size room 10/10 location great. Don’t hesitate to book this super duper hotel."
