Amazing room on the top floor,it was huge with a seperate living room. The view was not great but that didnt bother us as we were there to visit Blenheim Palace. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Parking is restricted so arrive early.

We have enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Bear Hotel. We came to enjoy a private family sunday lunch which the hotel did admirably. The lunch was very generous with great selection of vegetables with the roast. The staff were great, serving 25 people promptly without fuss. We stayed overnight and our room facing the rear courtyard was quiet, spacious and clean. Overall we would recommend The Bear Hotel for a stay.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, lovely room.

We spent one night here with our dog - who was very pleased to have been provided with his own bed! Everything was excellent - the room was wonderfully clean with nice additions (water in the fridge, coffee, slippers & gowns etc. ), fantastic location, just round the corner from Blenheim Palace and right in the centre of town. Lovely breakfast in the morning and the staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful.

Roo, though a little dated, was clean and comfortable . The male member of staff (sorry dont know his name)on the evening in bar, was attentive and kept us well lubricated into the early hours! Breakfast was average, coffee lukewarm, and personal preference didn't like the sausage and poached egg! Overall would stay again, prime location for the Palace and Woodstock
