My stay at Townhouse Boutique Hotel Cartagena was wonderful from start to finish. I had a few booking issues upon arrival, but Jesse and Laura at the front desk handled everything within moments. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly impressed me and set the tone for my visit. For fellow Americans, communication is easy — most of the staff speak fluent English and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The room was modern, stylish, and full of personality, with fun artwork and clever design touches. Though not huge, the space was efficiently arranged and spotless, making it both cozy and practical. Everything worked perfectly, and I appreciated how the décor reflected Cartagena’s creative energy. The rooftop bar was easily the highlight of my stay. Located on the 5th floor, it offers a cool escape from the city’s heat, with refreshing coastal breezes and a vibrant atmosphere. The menu was exactly what I hoped for, and the staff up there were friendly and attentive. Overall, the Townhouse Boutique Hotel blends modern comfort with great service and a fun, welcoming vibe. I’d absolutely stay here again — whether for the rooftop views, the excellent staff, or simply the relaxed energy that makes Cartagena unforgettable.

Our family really enjoyed the location of the hotel. We also enjoyed the supper club experience. On Friday and Saturday night, it is very noisy and there is bar downstairs that is very loud. Overall our experience was good, I liked the intimate feeling of the smaller hotel and being able to communicate via WhatsApp with the staff was great

Overall property was good, and the staff was very courteous and helpful. Loved the rooftop restaurant with a live DJ everyday around 1PM. Disappointed with the pool as it was in the restaurant area and quite small. Felt awkard getting in so it was a pass for us. Looked much larger in the pictures.

The hotel was in a central location to the activities that we were doing in my group. The concept of the hotel was cute but there were things that made my experience less than desirable. I had issues with my room such as the tv not working, the safe not working, the ac leaking, the smoke alarm going off when I would take a shower and a random beeping nose that constantly went off during the last night of my stay. I also found the towels and linens to be dingy and stained. The staff were mostly helpful and friendly. The food in the bar was pretty good.

Nice room but too much noise. Party central. On 2nd floor could hear the party noise for hours coming from the first floor until 1am. Breakfast was good. Not sure I would recommend it for a mature patron.

I will be recommending Townhouse Boutique Hotel to any friends or family making a future trip to Cartagena. The hotel was modern, fun, clean and comfortable. Every staff member was very friendly and the front desk was always very quick to respond to any requests and questions. We had breakfast included in our stay and it was fantastic - great delicious options and great value - way better than your typical continental breakfast! We made good use of the rooftop pool, which served as a much-needed cool down after exploring the city in the heat. The rooms were well-serviced every day and the shower had great pressure and never-ending hot water! Excellent stay all around!
