It was the peace and relaxation I needed I was solo for the first time and they set me mind at ease. I felt safe and knew everything was in order as requested. The vibe, the staff, the owner were amazing. Akil, Moli (sorry if I misspelled her name) the lady’s in the kitchen and her daughter, made you feel like family. I felt like that was my nana. If you down for peace and nature, minimal living at its finest.

The staff were very helpfull and made lovely food/drinks. We loved how peacefull it was to relax in the garden. It's not far from the beach. They have mosquito net for the beds and have spray in the house. At a warm day you can jump in the pool or take a good shower.
What was unique about this property it was that you had to transport from the city to the island on a small boat that was very unique. And the surrounding. I love the staff they were great always attentive and nice I would definitely go back again.

Tiny Village was the *perfect* spot to relax, while just a short boat ride away from the amazing city of Cartagena! The staff were so wonderful … everything was just perfect….from the food, to the lodging in my private casita, to all of the transportation and excursions they helped me arrange. I would recommend TVC to anyone, but especially travelers who enjoy a quiet hideaway just minutes from the fun of a gorgeous city. It was perfect for what I was seeking — and Maloi, Rafa, and Tia made it a vacation I will never forget!!
Akil and his team at Little Village are so great. They were able to help with any issue we had to any suggestions we made. The little house was spacious and clean. As this is on an island, there were quite some mosquitos, but they provided each house with bug spray and a mosquito net for each bed. The pool, food, and drinks were great although the prices were quite high for Colombia.
We would definitely stay again.
Amazing place! One of the most creative and beautiful resorts I’ve stayed in. I’ve been to over 50 countries and this was easily a top 3 resort I’ve stood in. The staff is friendly and always attentive. The owner, Akil, puts together tours and is constantly doing things to improve your stay. From your checkin he gives a tour and history of the concept for the resort. I would recommend for anyone of any age along with group trips such as bachelor/ bachelorette parties, family retreats, boys/girls trips, bdays, etc. I will definitely be coming back with my family.
First I am going to say 10/10 for a truly unique experience. The village is a real oasis to escape and reset from the everyday grind. It was exactly what I was looking for. The staff that work there are the stars of the show! We felt safe, well cared for even during a night when nature had other plans. The property was beautiful and well maintained but please bring mosquito spray, I would suggest the skin so soft brand worked like a charm for me (iykyk). The food was chef’s kiss, Tia prepared fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, and a traditional Colombian breakfast every morning and it was delicious. Maloi the property manager took care of every need I requested from the time I landed until I returned to the airport. There are multiple beach clubs within walking distance that are beautiful. I was celebrating my birthday and they even organized a party of me so we are family now lol! I will definitely return to Tiny Village.
Tia, Rafa, Michelle. Maloi made our visit to the Villas AMAZING!! They treated us like family with lots of love and attention. We had fresh fruit and fresh squeezed juice daily with our breakfast, thanks Tia ❤️. We had a little confusion while taking a walk (I went the wrong way)and when we returned to the Villa’s, Rafa walked with us and helped with navigating around the Island. The property is new and developing well but you can’t control Mother Nature, so be prepared to deal with mosquitoes and bugs. The property provides bug repellents and nets. And the owner Akil (lifesaver), was very quick to take care of any of our concerns and he also prepared excursions on and off the island for us. We will definitely recommend this property!
Our stay at Tiny Village in Tierra Bomba, Cartagena was nothing short of spectacular! While the breathtaking views and unique setting were undeniably stunning, what truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible hospitality we received from the staff.
A special shout-out to Rafa, the gentleman who seemed to be at our service whenever we needed him. In a remote island setting where anything can go wrong, Rafa was our go-to fix-it man. His resourcefulness and kindness ensured that we felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay.
Then there’s Tia, whose culinary creations were beyond compare. We could have ventured out to any restaurant in town for a fancy meal, but we chose to savor the delicious dishes prepared by Tia and her daughters. Their warm hospitality and home-cooked meals provided a dining experience that surpassed even a 3 Michelin-star restaurant!
And of course, I cannot forget Maloi, the orchestrator of our perfect vacation. From the moment we arrived, she made sure we felt taken care of. Her meticulous attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our trip was seamless—taxi rides, boat trips, and excursions into town were all expertly arranged. Maloi's caring nature and magical touch made us feel at ease, even in an unfamiliar country.
Thank you, Tiny Village, for making our family vacation truly amazing. We can’t wait to return!
This might be the best place I’ve ever stayed at in the many locations I’ve traveled to. The environment is something that you can’t even appreciate fully until you’re in it. It’s beautiful. It’s peaceful. I’m not exaggerating, it literally felt like I lived there for the 5 days I was there.
I went with my girlfriend last week and our plan was to do so much on vacation, the only time we would be at the villas is to sleep and change clothes. That wasn’t the case at all. As soon as we got there we went exploring on the island for a few hours in the morning, went right back and spent the next 2 days on and below the viewing deck (on the hammocks more than the beds). So relaxing I didn’t want to get up, and I didn’t.
I have to tell yall about the food because that chicken sandwich???? The empanadas??!! Patacones!!!!! I ate them literally everyday. EVERYDAY. Sometimes twice a day. Tia treated us like we were her own children. The sweetest, most adorable smile-having cook that I wanted to take home. When you go, tell her everyone loves her and her food
Maloi is the best. So easy and entertaining to talk to and the most helpful. Made sure we had everything we needed whenever we needed it, whether that was info on where to go and what to do, getting boat rides any time.
Rafael is just a cool dude. Does his work, makes some jokes and helps out with everything. Need some help with something? That’s your guy
Our first 2 nights, there was only 1 other family there that was
It’s nothing like it looks and it boring no activities no exclusive nothing room small bugs everywhere we have to pay every time you take a ride back to the city on the boat just totally aren’t there. I didn’t stay 24 hours there I was gone in 12 in the city.
