The hotel was in a great location nearby the main attractions of Cartagena. The room was very spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly and I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Really enjoy my stay. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and was very helpful in assisting me in navigating activities as a solo traveller. The junior suite was very clean and quite roomy. The location was perfect and centralized. Walking distance to the Wall. I would stay at this property again.

EXCELLENT HOTEL STAY

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I was a little reluctant to book here at first because the street it’s located on can be a little intimidating (drunks at night and such), but we had no issues and the service was excellent. The room is the most spacious I’ve stayed at in Cartagena, including 5 star hotels. When my departing flight was delayed, they allowed me to use the gym for a couple of hours to eat up time. I will definitely be back to stay here

Mood Matuna was an excellent choice for our stay in Cartagena. The staff was excellent. In particular, Marjorie and Maria made our stay very enjoyable. Their excellent hospitality, professionalism, attentiveness and sunny disposition made our trip. The rooms were very spacious and the housekeeping staff were great. When we decided to stay in the Walled City we knew that it was going to be bustling, noisy, and crowded, but that was something we wanted to experience. The Walled City is old and everything is not aesthetically pleasing, but that was not something we cared about. So, if you want to be in walking distance of Getsmani, La Gorda Gertrudis, the Clock Tower, Plaza de Santo Domingo and Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas to name a few this is a good choice. Thank you again to Marjorie and Maria from the Grant Family (Kevin, Sonya, Bennie & Anitra).

It’s a great value for price. The room itself is large and clean. The beds are comfortable and cleaning staff were great at keeping everything spotless. The area itself is a bit dodgey but we never felt unsafe.

My stay at Mood Matuna was great, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The room was big and had everything I needed for my stay. It is located between Getsemaní and the historical center so it is great if you are walking around the city. The beach can be reached by walking but it is a bit far from the hotel. The area around the hotel is not so he greatest but it is very convinient

Had to leave due to allergies from my gross moldy smelling room. Even though I left immediately they still charged me for one night. Staff was rude and the location isn't nice. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel.
