A Quiet Retreat in the Leafy Parisian Suburbs.

A welcoming and tranquil place to stay with a refreshingly 'old-school charm'. Friendly, helpful staff and an excellent restaurant with an emphasis on delicious Senegalese food. Ideally placed overlooking the Seine. Perfect for a stroll along the river, yet only a stone's throw from central Paris.

Pour le calme

La chambre est petite et demande à être rafraichie. Le petit déjeuner est correct pour les 10€. Salle de bain un peu petite avec un lavabo bouché. Pas de wifi dans la chambre donc difficile de travailler un peu le soir. Le quartier est calme en bord de Seine. Chambre à moins de 100 € sur la banlieue Parisienne.

Rustique mais propre; manque de personnel mais la directrice de l'auberge se met en quatre pour satisfaire ses clients. Situé dans un havre de paix, prêt de la Seine et fait oublier les immeubles de Carrières sous Poissy et les usines Peugeot de Poissy à portée de vue. Séjour agréable.

Ambiance un peu vieillote mais cosy

Arrivée tardive (21h30) mais quand même possible de manger au restaurant. Petit déjeuner avec vienoiseries et assortiment pains frais, appreciable. La chambre est séparée du bureau/salon, appreciable pour travailler. La déco est un peu old school (années 60/70?) mais certains apprecieront

Hotel incroyable, hors du temps. Calme, meubles retro, clim avec la canicule, gentillesse et professionnalisme. je le conseille vivement.Enfin un hôtel à prix abordable différent. Les repas sont élaboré dans le style familial et c'est très bon.

Brief visit

Traditional French hotel. Friendly service, but no hot water for shower and breakfast was very limited in range of food available. Very close to where I was visiting, but taxi driver could not locate hotel easily.

auberge sympathique en bord de Seine

Auberge vieillot, mais plein de charme, à l'accueil très agréable et au personnel non avare dans les explications de la cuisine antillaise du restaurant. Savoureuse et exotique, elle nous fait voyager, surtout le pigment antillais. Hôtel calme en bordure du fleuve où l'on voit passer les péniches de la terrasse. A recommander.

Is this Hotel really open?

The hotel was closed when we arrived - we had to phone for someone to let us into our rooms. We only saw 1 member of staff who checked in and out, cooked, waitered, infant we didn't see any other member of staff or evidence of other guests. We suspect that the hotel is run on a skeleton service and may have gone bankrupt. The description is 5 stars?????? The one member of staff did try but I feel this is mis selling! Positive - maybe the river views and individual attention?
