Room was clean and modern and good size for one person……wonderful location close to Cardiff castle and city centre….. beautiful big park close by…..excellent location with the National Express depot 5 minutes away for transfers to London airports or Swansea…. Pub itself and surround on the premises were run down and dated….. needed some money spent to tidy it up….

My stay here was absolutely incredible. Not only was the location so convenient, I loved having the pub down stairs for snacks and recommendations whenever I needed. The room I stayed in overlooked the pubs garden and when you closed the window that thing was SOUND PROOF. I brought my dog and he was enthusiastically greeted whenever we came and went. Drinks okay, food actually very good.

Loved the hotel. The room was very nice and big, and even though we didn’t have a dog, it was really nice to see that dogs were welcome. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and visit again

I have stayed here before for work, it is convenient for city and the customer, staff are friendly and helpful, a good selection of ales and food. The rooms are very comfortable and clean.
