"Stag were friendly and the hotel has clearly spent some money renovating the bar and break fast room. The bedroom however was another story, the room had a very strong damp/musty smell. To the point my 13 year old son said why does it smell like a haunted house in here and I struggled to sleep. Both the TV and Fridge didn’t work. The only reason we didn’t leave was that it was 10pm by the time we arrived and needed to leave at 8am for a bike race (the reason we were in Cardiff) By the time I’d paid for parking and breakfast it was £130 for 1 night, do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else! "
