"Check in was painful with the need to scan s Qr code and fill in a form when all our details are already on the system when we booked. No tea making facilities in rooms. Staff wete great but big queues due to mobile registration. What happens if there is someone who doesn't do mobile qr codes? "

"Excellent location, nicely decorated, clean room. Self check-in was straight forward and fast. Friendly, helpful staff. The only thing we didn't care for was the communal coffee/tea station. As we walked by once, there was an unsavoury looking cup of coffee sitting on the worktop and turned us off of using the machine. The restaurant/bar was fabulous! The food was delicious and great value for money. We will definitely stay again."

"Receptionist refused to hand over key cards to my 2 daughters even after i checked in online. Made the stay negative from the 1st minute they stepped into the hotel. When they say they treat everyone as an adult over the age of 15 is a lie. A 17 and 19 year old was not allowed to check in until I sent my photo ID in an email. Follow up messages to my daughters were about quality of sleep. Very poor due to substandard pillows."

"Positives - great location only 8 minute walk from the AO Arena & train station, comfy bed, friendly staff and amazing breakfast! Not so positives - dressing chair had a large stain on, the breakfast order to hang on the door had previous persons details on and room smelt of smoke. I would like to say though these did not ruin our stay at all and we would absolutely stay again! "

"Nice clean room and staff, great for what we needed it for. My only complaint is that my room was right above the pub next door and as it was open until 3:00 am in the morning, the loud music was pulsing straight through our floor so didn’t get to sleep until late."

"Great hotel, beautiful rooms. Spa, pool and gym were lovely. Breakfast was expensive, evening meal menu limited and expensive. Staff were very helpful."
