"Loved our stay in a 2 bed apartment in Braid apartments. Beds so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave ! Great welcome basket with some breakfast items were waiting for us on arrival. 2 bathrooms with showers in each and great heat throughout the apartment. Edinburgh Heritage have documents from the 1700's with all the names of the people that lived in the historic close, including Lord Adam Gordon; David Doig, merchant; William Dunbar, weaver and Ewen. Visiting here gives a good impression of what living in the old city must have been like.
