Offering a welcome break from the lights and buzz of the Manhattan concrete jungle, this park is a much loved spot to rest weary feet, stroll and enjoy a picnic.
Probably one of the most famous Statues of modern times, this iconic symbol of freedom, democracy and hope is a national treasure loved by millions worldwide.
The legendary Bronx Zoo and New York Botanical Garden offer a perfect escape from Manhattan's bustle. Yankee Stadium draws baseball fans while Arthur Avenue serves up the city's most authentic Italian food without the Little Italy crowds.
Public transportation was very easy. We went to the stadium twice and went into Manhattan to take a few laps around the Jackie O reservoir in Central park. Subway was just around the corner, about 1 minute from the front door.

I had heard a lot of bad things about it but after visiting, I see there's really nice areas and very nice people and restaurants. I enjoy visiting there now and the prices are cheaper than other parts of NY.

"The hotel is older but I really liked the style of it. The price for the location is great. Desk staff were wonderful. We had a room with one king bed and the size was good, room was comfortable and the window AC unit kept up with the 37 degree heat. Not a good hotel if you are planning to have a lot of meals in your room - no fridges/microwaves. We were only there for a few nights so this was not a problem. I will stay here again if I am back in NYC."
"My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for his birthday weekend. We chose the hotel because I’ve stayed there before and I loved it and the location is so convenient, BUT this time around, it was even better. The staff was nothing less than amazing. Every single encounter we had was incredible. They were all so sweet and helpful. And they helped me surprise my boyfriend for his birthday which I am eternally grateful for. Thank you all so much! 1000/10"
"The double tree south was a great location really close to time square and all the theaters. The room was a bit small but that was a non factor as we didn’t spend a lot of time there just to sleep. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was really hot after a long day. "
"Great access to Times Square and the many theatres in the area. Great restaurants nearby, as well as the pizza stop next door and great drinks at the lounge bar."
