"Room was very clean. Service in Belgium overall including this hotel is absolutely terrible. The entire building must be set to either cool or heat. Rooms are not able to be independently adjusted. As a result all 4 rooms were very warm."

"It's bit small for family of 4 especially kitchen is very small. It is good if you are not cooking. We noticed small broken glass pieces in the kitchen utensils. "

"Room was generously sized, hotel was clean and stylish, the lobby smelt amazing. We didn't receive any communication regarding checking in or where to park, even though we had been in touch to reserve parking, so that would have made our arrival much smoother. However, we would stay here again as it was a great location and good value. "

"The whole place was stunning. Not only funky decor but reasonable sized rooms that gave us so much space. The staff were incredibly welcoming and exceptionally helpful especially going above and beyond when a problem occurred during our stay. We highly recommend staying here. "

"My room was clean but very basic, I guess you get what you pay for. Staff were very helpful and provided hot water for tea in the morning even though I hadn’t booked breakfast, which incidentally was very expensive. Free parking to the rear and rear access made unloading very easy. The decor was a little tired and carpet look like it had had its own battle of Waterloo! Talking of which, Waterloo, is a very smart and has an air to it that is very pleasant. I only managed to ride through it but will return to walk through and visit the museum, shut on Mondays. I visited the Waterloo battle site and museum there….truly worth going to, it is excellent. "

"I am writing regarding a serious issue with my recent reservation. While booking for my birthday, I selected the date 23/02, but due to an error during the booking process, the reservation was unexpectedly changed to 23/03. As I returned from Lisbon on the same day, I arrived very late and immediately explained the situation at reception. I kindly requested a correction of the date, as the mistake did not reflect my original intent and was clearly visible when comparing the reservation details. Unfortunately, the receptionist was unhelpful and refused to assist. Instead, I was charged a full, more expensive rate than my initial booking — and without breakfast, which made this situation even more disappointing. This turned what should have been a special birthday moment into a very unpleasant experience. I respectfully request: A reimbursement of the price difference, or A full or partial refund, or A credit/voucher for a future stay under the original conditions. I trust this matter can be resolved fairly and swiftly, as this situation does not reflect the level of service I expected. Thank you in advance for your attention. I look forward to your response."
