"They are in the process of updating old couches and chairs! Much of the furnishings are old but the hotel is clean and is a convenient location! The views are either the intracostal or the ocean! Both are enjoyable except for the strait ahead view of the ocean( old ugly short buildings). However, it is a very acceptable place to stay if you can’t afford the ritz or Marriott!"

"The Sonesta was great and the staff wonderful. Food ok, beach access great. My only recommendation is turnoff the music at night. They have music playing all night and it is medium to loud. Not a good sleeping environment. Nice hotel. MM"

"They charge 360 for cleaning close that’s supposed to be back in same day back 2 days later they charge a daily resort surcharge of $60 that should of been explained upfront they also charge a huge fee for parking Place sucks staff house keeping at 5pm at night waste of money and just charge for no reason "

"I really enjoyed my stay here in January, 2026. It's a very low key, modest place, and appears to be a family run establishment. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I specifically chose this hotel because breakfast is included. My only real problem was that they did not provide a complete (bacon and egg) breakfast as advertised until well past their opening time of 7:00am. I'm a morning person, so I want my breakfast generally at 7:00am! If the complete (bacon and egg) breakfast doesn't actually start until 8:00 or 8:30am, that's not helpful!"
