Didn't try the pool this time as our guest room (#304) was in the newer building near reception (as opposed to across the road from reception where we stayed 6 days previously and where we did enjoy the pool). Unfortunately there were some really weird thumping, crashing and bashing noises going on directly above our room...almost like renovations except it went on until 2am and started again early Sunday morning. Overall, it didn't affect our stay that much and the location of the Villager is simply fabulous to enjoy the strip that comes alive at night time."

"Could not have had a better experience. First off we got a free room upgrade (thank you so much) to a Seaview XL, an amazing room with a great view of the beach and the pool. The pool area was very good and never struggled to find a sunbed. Food was excellent and cocktails very well made. Staff was very attentive and helpful. We got complimentary water from a fridge in the lobby any time we wanted some. The spa was great, had an excellent massage. I cannot wait to come again!"

"The rooms are very new no tv no information no tissues just a toilet roll and if you’re bigger than 6 foot you’ll never be able to sit on the toilet and the walls are very thin. You can hear everything in the Next room."

"We stayed here 8 years ago and the facilities have not changed just got tired over the years. I note from the replies to other adverse comments that the owners are in denial about the lack of upkeep of this hotel. Bathrooms are particularly bad. However the cleanliness is overall good"
