The booking agent and property had difficulty communicating which lead to a delayed checking and then the next morning they told me I had to pay, even though I had paid Expedia online. Many phone calls later it was eventually resolved. The property itself was alright, but the exterior door is in a sketchy side alley and did not feature a door on the apartment level. The only door was downstairs on the alley, a crude metal door with a metal bar to secure...

"nice place at Bucana Beach, perfect for those who like it quiet and away from the huzzle and buzzle of El Nido. The cabins are basic but cozy, each has a fan and mosquito nets. The owners are very friendly and helpful."

"The room was good, clean, had everything you need. It’s very difficult to get to due to road conditions. No ones fault obviously but would have been good to know. The place is in a very noisy area, so many roosters so bring good earplugs. The beach is filthy and you cannot swim there. Would not recommend going there "

"Staff especially Lhynne was wonderful but overall amenities and property management including food options is very poor. New Year’s Eve event was horrible, most of the things promised didn’t happen & food left a lot to desire for. Overall not a world class 3 star resort even. The staff however are polite and tried their best to provide a good experience but they are constrained by the amenities & what’s available for them to do. Overpriced for a resort of this quality. "

"Great location, still, quiet peaceful sunrises and gorgeous sunsets. Enjoyed breakfast made to order, good quality ingredients , fresh fruits, fresh from the market produce like egss. Spacious uniquely designed bedroom mini suites. Amenities like own mineral water dispenser and refrigerator, plus a working onsite generator to keep the AC working during power outages. Friendly helpful courteous staff. Unfortunately miss our on 5 star rating because of scalding hot showers that couldn't be...
