"I will be booking Origen again. The staff is amazing! The rooms are spacious and very clean and the hot water temperature is perfect. Our room was air conditioned and the bed is very comfortable. "Everything was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel is a standard, basic South American hotel. Good value. The neighborhood is interesting and safe during the day. It's located near the metro. It's not safe at night. I had a great time but understand that the neighborhood looks scary because of homeless people and troubled people but it's actually safe during the day. I had no issues but I stayed in at night. Also, there is lots of cheap food choices nearby. Good street food. There is a huge food market near the metro also. Fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese, etc. And the hotel is walking distance from Parque Bolivar and Parque Berrio. Both are safe and heavily policed. "
