"Very well located property, full of character. Stayed with friends in an attic suite with two bedrooms. Very stylish but in need of some routine maintenance e.g. none of the window blinds were working, the bedsheets didn’t fit the mattresses and the TV didn’t work. Plus there is no air-conditioning in the older rooms which wasn’t ideal on one of the hottest days of the year, although fans had been provided. However, the manager did offer a partial rebate by way of recompense, as well as his apologies, and the rest of the facilities were fantastic."

"The Hotel has a nice view of the river. The room was clean and comfortable but rather small, there was only room for one chair in the room so with two guests one would have to sit on the bed. The bathroom was adequate but again rather small. This was Ok for a one night stay but if we were staying longer it would have felt quite cramped. There was no guide to hotel facilities in the room and the telephone was not working. Staff were approachable and friendly but I felt they were understaffed at times, particularly in the restaurant. The continental breakfast was rather uninspiring with a very limited choice of cereals. It would have been helpful to have known about the car parking charge in advance rather than being told upon checkout."

"This is a pretty average hotel. It’s very clean and the lobby looks very impressive. However beyond that the corridors are dark, looming never ending mazes that lead you to average rooms. Tiny double beds. The breakfast is pretty bad, looks like a generous buffet but the quality is not good."
