"For some unknown reason this place was already rated "excellent" whereas there was no previous reviews. So I felt a little bit manipulated as this place without being bad was way overrated. Although the place is generally clean, it nis not maintained properly. Some stuffs need some fixing. The room I stayed in for almost 10 days had suffered water leakage in the wall which resulted in traces on the wall which has not been redone or even painted. Top Baru Island Hotel Reviews

Wyndham Garden Cartagena

8/10 Good

"location, clean"

Sofitel Barú Cartagena

10/10 Excellent

"We had the most incredible time at Sofitel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the resort is the perfect place to just stop and relax. It's not too big but the perfect size to make the most of it. They also offer activities throughout the day, we did a pizza making class free of charge. The beach is gorgeous but note it isn't completely private. A big shout out to Ramses who helped deliver our pizza making class in English. A huge thanks again to the Sofitel Baru team."
