Rooms very clean and the view was good. There was no air conditioning so we slept with the balcony door open. My only complaint is that the double twin room was extremely small. Our friends had a single bed room and it was significantly larger than a two bed room.

Sant August Hotel

The hotel is perfectly located to visit the historical sites of the city, has easy access to the Metro lines and has every kind of food available nearby. It is located right off Ramblas so you can walk to the Mediterranean or to Sagrada Familia. Would recommend it to anyone.

Super comfortable bed in a spotlessly clean room. Lovely bathroom, good breakfast. I really like the way the building had been converted into a modern hotel while retaining some character and original features, like the old stonework. Friendly helpful staff, too .

Great service, advice, information from Julian at the front desk as soon as we arrived. Location is great- front door on a square with a café, church, places to sit, sometimes entertainment, easy walk to main streets, cafés and restaurants, metro, Boqueria parking garage (recommended-large parking spots, security, bright, safe). Room was beautiful (penthouse), clean, has a fridge 👍 comfortable beds (we had 3), bright, nice bathroom with tub, separate shower and toiletries, lots of windows. Breakfast onsite until 10:30– we paid the hotel at checkout, separate from booking as it was the same price. There is a restaurant and lovely outdoor terrace. Check-out was quick, efficient and friendly (sorry I do not have her name at reception). There is a holding room for luggage at no extra cost. Would recommend Hotel Sant Agusti and would stay there again.

Great location

Great location for exploring Barcelona. Nice hotel just a shame about the homeless people in the square which is a little off putting initially. That said we were never bothered by them as we came and went. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance and very close to a metro station for the sights which were a bit further away.

Perfect location

This hotel was close enough to the Gothic area to be able to walk to everything. We arrived from the airport and took the metro with ease. Great bakery right next door. Market down the alley. Would come back

The hotel was in an unsafe area, as soon as we get there the hotel staff told us to keep an eye on our belongings all the time and to be aware of the guys that steals the phones and wallets. Nothing happens to us but just been told that since the moment we got there, made us feel unsafe and tense. We appreciated that they told us but we felt insecure.The surrounding stank like pee out on the streets close to the hotel. The room wasn't that clean or at least it didnt feel clean for us, felt more like they made the beds and that was it. We could tell the difference because the days before we stayed in Madrid and the cleaning was great and you could smell it fresh every evening! The pillows were hard also the bed too, and some of the staff a little rude. At least that was our experience!

A gem!

This is a little gem. I’ve stayed here many times over the years for the MWC event. It’s like a comfy pair of slippers. It’s familiar, only minutes to the metro and just off Ramblas. I won’t stay anywhere else for the budget.

This hotel is quaint considering it is a renovated convent. The location is absolutely great in terms of access to restaurants and transportation etc you are in the heart of the city. However the square where the entrance of the hotel is not very appealing as many homeless person hang out there- though they kept to themselves. Note the rooms are also small which is a very popular condition in Europe.

Comfortable, but bring your cleaning wipes

We stayed for two night, and was okay for the price. However I wouldn’t stay here again. The room wasn’t very clean at all, dust and mystery splashes on bathroom walls. The cleaners were very loud in the morning. The bed was comfortable however.

We didn’t have a very good impression for the hotel… it is very noisy if you go in high season, the sink didn’t not drain and we needed to ask to fix it. It was ok for the price, but we don’t r recommend it.
