I like the location, perfect location!! but the property is like an abandoned building, my room was not like the picture at all. It feels creepy, for a minute I thought I was in an abandoned old hospital/building. The entrance to the building was kinda dark and quiet. It’s a different building from the reception building. So we had to walk to the building that we stayed after we checked in. Lucky I came in group, cause if I was to be there by myself, there’s no way on earth I would stay there. For the price I paid I was hoping something a little more decent in quality based on the picture I see. Had I known my room looks like this, I would never booked it. The rooms in the picture look way too nice in my opinion. Feels like I got scammed. But again, the location is superb!!!

I had an emergency and could not make my reservation. I try explaining my situation to the hotel to see if at least I could change the dates of my reservation but property did not make any effort to help me they did not respond to my request at all. If you are planning to reserve this property make sure you pick the refundable option even if you pay a little more.

Perfect location to visit all the attractions in Barcelona. 5-30 minutes walking distance from Casa Batllo, La Rambla, La Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, and Gothic Quarter. We had a good size room that included a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, cooktop, plates, glasses and utensils). Room, beds and towels were clean, air condition units worked well. There are several breakfast, churro, tapas restaurants close by. We were very happy with our stay at Casa Gracia.

Hidden fees and other issues
There was a hidden fee of $200 for a tourist that I was charged at the end of my stay. I asked the hotel to refund this amount and did not receive a response. This hidden fee should have been disclosed upfront. I asked about a hotel shuttle to the airport and was told there was not one. Our bathtub jets did not work.
