This was my second stay at Hotel Barcelona Cathedral, and I will definitely be back again and again! The location is unbeatable, you are just steps away from the stunning Barcelona Cathedral and the Gothic Quarter, with easy access to La Rambla, local markets, and incredible hidden tapas bars. If you enjoy shopping, the main retail districts are only a 10–20 minute walk away. Just keep in mind that while most central sights are close, La Sagrada Família is a bit of a trek on foot, so you may want to plan for transport for that specific trip. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and located in a very safe, vibrant neighborhood. What truly makes the stay special is the staff; they are incredibly friendly and welcoming. For anyone wanting a safe, central, and high-quality home base in Barcelona, I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Let's start with the room and bathroom, it was immaculate, quiet, roomy and LUX. My only complaint was the very very FIRM bed. There were tons of lighting, outlets and the blackout curtains were perfect for sleeping in. If you use wash clothes you will have to bring your own. Getting to the hotel is a little tricky, the taxi can't drop-off/pickup in front of the hotel so you will have to walk about 2 blocks from the main street (4 min). The staff were friendly and the hotel itself is super cute. I'd stay there again, you really can't beat the location a few steps from Barcelona Cathedral!!!
