The Duquesa Suites were wonderful. The service from everyone we superb, nothing was too much trouble, there was always a smile and they made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. The area is also great right on the edge of the Gothic Quarter and marina area.

The Duquesa Suites are an annex from the main hotel, Hotel de Cardona. You want to stay at the Hotel NOT the suites. The suites are in a sad little building 150 meters from the main hotel. There are no amenities there. You have to walk to the hotel to eat, go to the bar, visit the rooftop. Do not mix them up. The suites are like an extended stay in the USA. Fortunately, we were able to move to the Hotel. That being said, we really liked the Hotel de Cardona. Water views and really well located to access the gothic quarter. Great staff as well. Pay for the breakfast-well worth it.

Great location as the property is adjacent to Gothic quarter and Marina. Really helpful and friendly staff. Lovely views from roof terrace. Rooms have balconies to soak up the hustle and bustle of the city. Rooms have good facilities for a city break- we stayed for 5 nights. Perfect place to stay in Barcelona

The front desk staff were excellent . Justin and Alejandro did a terrific job of answering all our questions, doing reservations for us etc etc The hotel is well located, clean and well maintained.

The hotel is not a 4-Star hotel. Some of the photos being used are from the sister hotel, Duquesa de Cardona. There is no swimming pool on premise, no restaurant on premise and no room service. All of these things are necessary to be classified as a 4 star hotel. Nonetheless, they charges me the same price as the Duquesa de Cardona, which is their much nicer sister hotel. The hotel is a 3 star hotel, and should not have the same rating and price as the sister hotel.
