The Westin is located the same building as Hamburg’s amazing Elbephilharmonie concert hall. A recommendation for guests: make a reservation in the bar on concert nights. "The hotel was absolutely lovely inside. Gorgeous artworks, modern and spacious lobby. The restaurant and bar was amazing and staff were friendly and attentive. The food was great and the service too. Our room was simple and very clean, perfect for what we needed. The view was not too bad, the area its in looks run down, with derelict buildings and graffiti and sewage smells to one side amd a nice park and the river to another. Would recommend staying as long as you like exercise because the key cards demagnetize if you look at them wrong — they must be praised and cajoled and need never be near anything that lets off the slightest electronic signal or you’ll be back downstairs to rekey the card yet again — 3 night stay and I think I had to do it about 8 times this trip. "The hotel is located a bit far from everything, but we were limited on a busy weekend.
