Hotels near Balboa Park Golf Course

"We had a great time, the Hotel is really beautiful. Loved the decorations and the vibe of the bar. However, when I checked in, I was not happy to learn parking was 70 per day, plus 35 amenities, and a 375.00 deposit for the room. The high price for parking and 35.00 extra a day for amenities? It was money I did not plan on spending. I feel those fees are very high and should be included when booking the room, and parking should not have an amenities charge attached when paying 70.00 a day."

"My drain kept making noise in the middle of the night when I wasn’t using it, which woke me up. No complaints about staff or cleanliness."

"AC so loud woke us up every time it came on. Bed extremely uncomfortable. View from window of a large coolant machine. Loud which we expected from gaslamp. Very rude staff at check in. She was annoyed that we booked with expedia and therefore we feel we got the worst room on the property #201. Love gaslamp but will take our money elsewhere in the future."

"Staff were friendly. Area was convenient for our trip as it was across the street from the Cruise port."

"The hotel was clean and comfortable with helpful staff. The neighborhood is rough. There are a lot of bars, clubs, and restaurants and there was a lot of street noise, music, and cars blasting music past 4 am during our stay. Many unhoused people on the streets. I liked the property but will be looking for a different neighborhood for my next visit to San Diego."
