"We had an overnight layover at OR Tambo, and spent the night at Travetel OR Tambo Airport Hotel.
The hotel had everything we needed for a short stay. It is close to the airport and offers transport to and from OR Tambo (although the max capacity in their transport is 3 people!)
The rooms were clean and spacious, the breakfast was good, and the service was great. If we had more time we would have made use of the pool and spa services offered."

"Excellent guesthouse, clean, stylish & comfortable . Upon arrival the host Ryan warmly welcomed me, as he made our trip more interesting with his advices & tips about the city ,supermarket ,shops, restaurants bars are within walking distance. "We have stayed at the City Lodge for 1 night. It’s clean and most staff are generally friendly. It’s easy to get to from the airport. You can walk to it if you’re reasonable fit.
We also stayed at the sister City Lodge which cost less. It has a better breakfast and the staff are very friendly.
You have to catch a cab there.
My first choice would be the sister City Lodge 3km away "

"Everything was good. It was clean. Breakfast was very good. Staff nice and helpful. Also the swimming pool area looked very nice (even if we didn't use it).
There were two things that we didn't like. First was the size of the room - very little space besides the two double beds and the rest of the furniture.
The second one was the planes noise - but at the same time being close to the airport is also a pro if you want to go to the airport in the morning so I guess on this you can't complain ;)"
