This is a clean hotel directly connected to JNB airport. I have stayed here many times. It is always great service, rooms are clean and the breakfast buffet is excellent value. Check-in can sometimes be busy when a lot of international flights arrive at the same time. The staff are always friendly and helpful!

The room was a basic motel style room and a little dated, but clean and comfortable. The restaurant has good food options. A suggested improvement would be to close the doors to the pool outside dining area to prevent cigarette/vape fumes in the restaurant. We had a safe and comfortable stay and recommend this hotel.

The City Lodge Hotel was the best choice. Luckily a porter helped us get there because it was quite a walk from the luggage carousel. It was clean, beautiful and the restaurant was excellent! We will stay there again if we are ever in Johannesburg.

The rooms we had were all we needed-- very clean and quiet. Their breakfast buffet was quite an elaborate spread as well and the lobby/lounge areas were inviting. Best of all, after flying for 24+ hours from the US, it was SO convenient to have a room at the terminal where we could just collapse. (Our first floor room's water pressure was a bit weak. For our second stay, I asked for better water pressure and got a great shower in a 3rd floor room.). We would happily stay here again.
