"My husband and I love staying here for our long weekends at the OBX. The close proximity to the beach, piers for fishing, shopping and great food ,including the in house restaurant makes this hotel an easy choice. "

"We stayed on the third floor of the tower and had a perfect view of the ocean and sunrise. The balcony shielded the wind somewhat. The location of Shutters is perfect for walking or short drives to restaurants. We could see the Kitty Hawk memorial from the parking lot side of the property."

"First time staying there really liked the beach access. Parking lot very tight but other than that it was great stay"

"Great location, older beach motel but they've done a nice job keeping it up. Only issue we had was the a/c unit was very noisy would wake us up throughout the night, would stay again!"

"Great beach access for the money! Wright Bros. Monument is 2 blocks away but not walkable-- the highway can't be safely crossed on foot. Also, a car is necessary to get to restaurants and other places of interest, though they are near enough. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!"
