"An old hotel, but very updated. Our TV had different options for Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc. the room was nice and big, great for 2 people. And it was a 2 minute walk from Nabari Station. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The only problem we noticed was in the light there were some cobwebs. We did see a spider on the wall as well. Other than that, everything was fine!"

"We stayed at this hotel in both Kyoto & Osaka. Both have onsens but these felt superior. The massage chairs were also a great boost to what they offer and staff was great and helpful.
At a great location and a place I would absolutely return to when back in Kyoto.
Can be a bit busy during peak hours but still find times to take advantage of amenities. "
"Wonderful hotel in a wonderful location. The front desk was very kind and helped us with information and with luggage dispatch to our next destination. The bedroom was really good and spacious. Three minute walk from Kyoto station, so it was good to arrive and leave with Shinkansen and also to move around the city with train and subways. "
"Staff at this site were great. We enjoyed the breakfast and its options. We appreciated the water filling stations that offered sparkling water. Room was comfortable. Trains were walkable from this location but main line was a bit far. "
"The hotel itself is not exactly right near much….but you walk 10 minutes and suddenly you are near everything: Kyoto Station, shopping, restaurants, bars. We liked that….the serenity of the hotel and the immediate area, but quick to everything you could want. The hotel itself is small, but very modern and well maintained. The room was perfect for us 5. Plenty of room, a mini kitchen setup, very comfortable. Also, because Kyoto bus transportation is so solid, and there is a bus stop 1 minute from the hotel, we were easily able to get to temples, further out areas, etc. "
"We enjoyed our visit to Kyoto and the accommodations provided by the Hiyori Stay Kyoto Kamogawa. The hotel is located on a quiet street but not far from local attractions. It is somewhat centrally situated between the main train station and the Gion district, which worked out well for us as we used this property as our hub while exploring Kyoto and also taking day trips. The room was a decent size and well equipped with everything we needed. It had a small kitchen that we didn't use, but also a refrigerator and washer/dryer that we did use. The drying feature in the shower area worked surprisingly well and it was nice to have clean clothes before moving on in our journey. The staff was also very friendly and helped us in many ways, including with dinner reservations. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again when I am in Kyoto."
