"While the property has beautiful views of Taygaytay lake, the hotel was empty on arrival and it seemed that they were not expecting any guests at the time. While I understand checkin was 3pm and we arrived around noon, it was fairly disappointing that on an empty hotel they were no able to accomodate us for early checkin which wasn't even early at all. We had to wait until 3pm to be able to check in. The rooms while they are okay they are not as nice as pictured. Also the passage ways are right...

I narrowed down my list to 3 places: the Taal Vista, Lake Hotel and Carmelence View. Boy am I glad I chose Carmelence View! I based my decision after reading the great reviews about the place. "A good plenty of car spaces. Staffs are all well trained with good personalities. The rooms are cleaned daily with all amenities replaced. There is a pool which is maintained daily and looks over the beautiful and magnificent Volcanic island. The coffee shop is in the lobby and serves superb Brews. As all fabulous restaurants are scattered at walking distance but we found Leslie the best."
