"Absolutely fabulous place, incredible location right on the beach, and the room even had a sneak peek of the sea. They also ensured our husky was comfy with a welcome bag of treats, and a bed for her. It was also great to see the room carpet was definitely for dogs, while usually a carpet that is less than pristine may be your nightmare, it put us very much at ease. There was also a gorgeous roll top bath and even a stainless steel shower, great again for dogs. The staff were fabulous too, highly recommend"

"My wife and I loved this currently old style quirky hotel although the hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment which did not spoil our stay. The hotel was central to everything. All the staff we came across were very friendly, happy to help and tried their best to accommodate us. Breakfast is good and plentiful and a lot of choice. Our room on the first floor west wing was lovely big including the comfortable bed. The only small downsize was maybe the toiler/shower need upgrading and the lighting/electrics as well. I did get the feeling that the hotel was trying to keep the standard high and their best to keep customers satisfied maybe because the refurbishment but none of that affected us. We would certainly come back again"

"Good location, clean room and bathroom, great facilities in the room and comfortable bed. Quite noisy outside but standard for city centre. Laundry room facilities state ironing boards and irons available but this was not the case - ironing boards but no actual irons. Was staying overnight for a conference so an iron was essential, messaged on WhatsApp and was told they don't provide irons at the Brighton location. Very frustrating."
