"The room was spacious and well appointed with nice amenities. The breakfast buffet was top notch. Loved the local Filipino food they offered. Also really appreciated their attentiveness to allergens and providing safe dishes for my son. The chef came out everyday to discuss options with my son. The area around the hotel was very busy, but we always felt safe on thr property."

"Terrible cockroach in the bathroom and beside the bed. Torn pillow case and bed sheet and noisy as this is beside the street. Don’t be fooled with the pictures … reality hotel is rundown you will be ashamed to bring your family and friends. Nothing is great only the view. "

"I was looking for a quiet place with great view of the Taal Lake so I could spend a couple of days with my elderly parents before returning the the US. I narrowed down my list to 3 places: the Taal Vista, Lake Hotel and Carmelence View. Boy am I glad I chose Carmelence View! I based my decision after reading the great reviews about the place. The room is very clean. The place is very private and you feel like you are in your own private rest house. The view of the Taal Lake is awesome! And again...
