Station House Inn - Near Heavenly Gondola

10/10 Excellent

"First time staying in South Tahoe. It was such a great place! The room was nice, big, and comfortable. We got a king suite with a queen pull out couch. We needed an extra bed and the staff brought over a roll away bed and bedding. It’s walking distance to the heavenly shopping area. Pool is heated/warm. Had a guy out playing guitar and singing. Fire pit and yard games available. Overall was great, perfect for families. Staff was great!"

"We stayed at Jeffrey Hotel for two nights. Before our stay, I read that it was a modern, contactless hotel, but unfortunately, our experience was not as smooth as expected. The contactless check-in process did not work for us because we never received the text message with check-in instructions. It seems they did not have my phone number on file, and I did not receive an email either. When we arrived, we were confused because the office was locked and there was no staff available. I had to call customer service to get our room number and access code. Another major issue was the noise. There was a connecting door between our room and the neighboring room that was not well soundproofed. The family next door had an infant, and we could hear the baby crying very clearly. We could also hear every step from the guests in the room above us, making it difficult to relax and sleep. Overall, the hotel has a modern concept, but the lack of communication during check-in and the poor soundproofing significantly affected our stay. It was also frustrating that there was no staff on-site to address our concerns. "
