"We have just returned from 1 night stay at Royal station hotel ,. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. On arrival we were checked in smoothly although our room was not ready the girl at reception was very helpful stating we could leave luggage . We were given an upgraded room which was beautiful. We both prefer the old buildings with a little character. Breakfast next morning was lovely, self service , food was hot and tasty. We have stayed here many times when we visit Newcastle and...

"This is a nice hotel located on the out skirts of Newcastle. The rooms are of a good size and the hotel has a very nice bar with a large out door seating area, the bar is used for breakfast where a very good continental and cooked breakfast is also available. The staff are very good but the parking is limited. "

"Good hotel, a few niggles (no shower gel, TV remote didn't work) but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"For the price it was excellent value The heating didn’t work in our room (hot water and shower did work and shower was lovely) but we did have a heater which worked a treat. There was complimentary breakfast bag and free coffee machine in the morning "

"This was a lovely place to stay for business. The staff were fantastic and friendly. The food and drink were great. The only things that could be improved would be getting rid of the dirt and mould on the shower screen and bath edge and changing the shower/bath mixer for a better quality one to control the shower temperature without fluctuation. As the venue attracts a lot of working travellers why not offer an earlier breakfast at 0700 or even 0630. More people might take it up then."

"The room was small and cosy, ideal for my solo trip. Nice bathroom, the only little thing i didn’t like was the lack of bath mat for the bath which i find a bit inconvenient cos it could be slippery, but one of the staff members provided me one. The rest was very good, receptionist was really helpful and friendly. "
