"A clean, good-sized room with plenty of tea and coffee and fresh milk in a small fridge. Bed was comfortable. Chosen because we could have our dog with us. The step down to the spacious bathroom was highlighted with flourescent tape to make it safer in the night. The seal on the shower screen needed refixing and the entrance and stairs to the bedrooms could do with a repaint. Whoever had prepared the room had forgotten the usual little gift package for the dog that was part of the deal, but this was rectified by one of the cleaners before we left. Staff were charming, helpful and welcoming. A nice stop-off on our way to the Highlands of Scotland. Warkworth is delightful and we would stay there again."

"Very clean and spacious bedrooms however they use an air vacuum toilet system which it was acknowledged to me was useless. I used the pub toilet at times because of continual blockages. Thatโ€™s dreadful. It is a pub and was very good with pleasant staff. The breakfast was limited to usual hot food, except only fried eggs, limited continental breakfast. We had one evening meal and not brilliant however the fish restaurants in Amble compensate. Parking is good and plentiful on-site. The pub is difficult to find using a car satnav but ok if you use Google. Apparently the pub has been there 3 years and many satnavs donโ€™t recognise the estate itโ€™s on."
