"Good position close to the sea front restaurants and shopping mall. Room was roomy clean with coffee/ tea and water provided daily. Free toiletries. Swimming pool was clean with sun beds and towels. Breakfast had a good selection both Asian and European."

"I found all the staff very helpful. The location is good for Orangutan, Sun Bears and the Rain Forest. The only elemwnt that was poor was I needed to amend my booking via Expedia and I still ended up being charged for one additional night, the cost was minimal, but that's not the point."

"The Sabah Hotel is a lovely hotel. Our twin room on the 6th floor was perfect with comfortable firm beds and was clean and spacious. Note: importantly the room has a fridge which is not all that common at other Sandakan hotels. The Buffet Breakfast was very good, especially the egg station and food was plentiful. "Sampai hotel security suruh tunggu next shift staff untuk sampai kerja. Pekerja shift sebelum sudah balik atas sebab transport balik waktu malam tidak ada. Terpaksa tggu hampir 3 jam lobby untuk staff kasih check-in ke bilik yang sudah dibayar. "
