"Room much nicer and bigger than expected (family room) with lovely views. Nice breakfast options and lots of trip options and lifts if needed. Limited food options in evening but food good."

"Very conveiniently located for bird livers as only 600m to Rainforest Discovery Centre. Room is well designed with outsidet but secured toilets which is great for us as we could leave our cameras there during the night to avoid to ac condensation. Staff is hepful, food is ok. Only minus is the steps to reception and room."

"We stayed at Johnson Villa and the View from that villa was supernice, the kitchen utensil provided were good and almost everything was perfect. But they should improve in terms of hanging place for clothes and towel. At the same time, 3 of the dining chairs should be replaced since it easily broken and may be dangerous to the customers."

"The property is basic, but well maintained and food is pretty good mostly. Beer available to buy. No wifi - but you can get a poor connection from receptionist's phone acting as hotspot. Friendly atmosphere. 3 days, 2 nights, equals 4 boat journeys, 1 day walk and 2 night walks. First 2 boat trips were disappointing - didn't see much except same monkeys who hang around camp. 3rd saw orangutans and crocodiles. 4th saw whole herd of pygmy elephants with calves on riverbank and swimming. "Wake up to a magnificent view of Mt Kinabalu just infront of our unit. They could improve on the water system. The unit we stayed has no hot water and the pressure was very low. I was freezing cold after a cold shower. Other than that we loved the place and enjoyed our stay. "

"The most amazing stay. The kitchen excelled with all our food allergies and nothing was too much trouble for them. We saw wild Orangutans near the lodge. Only 4 rooms, so quiet and less mosquitoes than those places on the river. I loved my stay and highly recommend to others."

"Fantastic guides. Very knowledgeable and good at spotting wildlife. Aswad (one of the guides) is very personable and helpful. The river cruises were nice, but the jungle trek behind the property weren't as fruitful as I'd hoped. Food was good and never lacking for portion size. "

"Is not overcrowded, in actual facts, peaceful and excluded, very good place for Zen time. Simple meals are available and filtered drinking water at self service. Beautiful crystal emeraldish ocean, clean beach. Travel light, is inconvenient to drag big suitcases but the owner and staffs are helpful. Is not noisy with partygoers , definitely very much recommended."
