"We got upgraded so that was nice. The only downfall was the prices in the hotel bar and the store inside of it. Friday we bought a bottle of Chardonnay and they said it would be $50.00! We just about fell over but we’re stuck with no other options. That evening we went to the bar for a drink before bed. I was charged $30,00 for a glass of Chardonnay! He said it was a 9 oz glass but there was no way. I know my sizes. Then Saturday we go in the store to grab another bottle of the same Chardonnay....

"My husband and I stayed for the weekend to visit our daughter who lives in Hillcrest. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, cost was a little pricey but worth it. If you are one of their gold members it’s free, but we are not so we paid 25 a person. All good. Will stay again in future. "

"This hotel is a Favorite of soccer teams on Memorial Day Weekend Top Gun tournament. It gets rowdy and the kids are running amok all over the property. "

"The Guild is in a great spot. It's just a couple blocks from the water and makes getting around the city very easy. The hotel itself is very nice and has an upscale boutique feeling. The staff are friendly. The only things I didn't really like... they say that they're pet friendly but in reality they should say that they allow pets. Very different than being pet friendly. "Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Valet was also wonderful and we didn't have to wait ver long for service on either arrival or check out."

"You pay for the area, hotel was quite and convenient. No hotel parking only valet $65. But there is a parking on 707 Broadway (around the corner) for $40 overnight parking. Overall happy with a night stay, would book again!"
