The room was clean and we got a free upgrade to a larger room. The only downside is it's a pain to walk anywhere, though it is close enough to the Nobel and UTC Blue Line stops and the rapid loop buses.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is helpful, courteous, and professional. The room is clean and bathroom is updated. The main room could use some updating. There was also a very strong smell either coming from the AC or carpet, which affected my comfort level.

Good variety of dining options and serving Starbucks coffee, also a little mart available at the lobby. Super clean facilities. Very convenient location to access the highway and visit the UCSD. Also close access to La Jolla Village and the trolley station. Parking options are expensive but you can try to park on the street at night.
