The stay in general was great, as the hotel was new, clean and kid friendly. They have a kids area where we paid a small fees and our kids learnt how to paint and made some cookies. All the staff were friendly and well trained.
My wife and I went to the SPA and it was a delightful experience. We were met by Ms Sammi Wang, the SPA manager and she were able to provide a delightful experience for us, especially during CNY where the bookings were full. A big Thank You to her.
The housekeeping team on our floor (18th) was also surprisingly proactive in terms of asking if we need help / supplies during our stay. We met different members and one of them was the supervisor and they were all friendly and welcoming.
The only downside was our checkin experience as we waited over 1 hour to get our room due to CNY velocity. We went with another family and while we got our room around 3pm (as expected during peak period), they did not get their room till 6pm and we needed to rearrange our evening plan. Furthermore, when we asked for extra blankets, the front desk said they run out! It was a bit disappointing.
In summary, we will avoid going during peak times until the hotel has more experience running during peak periods.
