"Thoroughly enjoyed my solo stay at Hotel Riu Las Americas. Great food, many entertainment alternatives, and very walkable. The staff was great and they seemed to be cleaning 24/7. I will definitely choose to stay here again. The only downside is that the rooms are dated and the AC system was a bit musty. However, those few faults had no effect on me enjoying my stay. I HIGHLY recommend!!!"

"Review for stay during September of '25. This resort is huge with being 4 resorts (Kantenah, Colonial, White Sands & TRS-Adults only), on shared Palladium property. You can attend most if not all the resort pools, restaurants, entertainment etc. It was low season so resorts were not over-crowded. Actually, Kantenah Family Selection building/beach was fairly empty which we did not mind. Never an issue finding chairs at the beach or bali bed for rent. Colonial is the 'center hub' of all the resorts and seems to have the best entertainment, beach parties etc. Gametime sports bar was great, air-conditioned, TVs & full bar food menu and drinks to order from all included. It made for great catching a game on NFL opening weekend. Resort is also very family friendly. They have a schedule for activities for children, teens & adults. Never thought we would enjoy such a big resort but we truly did and wish we had more time. Rare occasion we opted not to leave the resort as every day/night there was something to do or see. There is a smaller waterpark on site also with slides for the kids and even an area for toddlers. We did encounter a couple issues during our stay however, management was prompt to resolve the issue and offer compensation. Our concierge butler passed the information on and the concierge manager came to the pool finding us offering sincere apologies and asked how they can make things right. Nothing is perfect but to me, that is customer service. We will return. "

"This was a great experience! The beach is awesome and not too busy. The pools are amazing and cater to different tastes—high energy or R&R. The food is high quality at the Sea & Stone restaurant and reasonably priced for a resort. The Sports Bar menu was limited during our stay (New Year’s) and we thought it was just okay. Cancun has many great options for food so that was not an issue for our family. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really excellent as is the room. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from the room on the 5th floor and could hear the waves —a nice backdrop/soundtrack to our vacation. During our time in Mexico we stayed in 3 hotels. This was by far the best. Would come back!"

"Its a great property with breathtaking views of the beach. We had the beachfront room with amazing view. Staff is very polite and tries their best to communicate even though 90% of them don't speak English. The dinner reservation booking process is very smooth and you can easily book a reservation with 2 restaurants for ala carte. The main restaurant CUA is buffet only and you can easily walk in to grab a table without any issues. I would highly recommend this property and will also advise on taking the all inclusive only s it would be worth price if you drink. "
