"Check in was straight forward the staff were very helpfull and pleasant to deal with 2 lifts to all floors nice clean room and bathroom some of the public areas are showing their age but we had a really nice stay ,we used the pool which was a nice space but the changing facilities were a little grubby but usable the only downside of the location is lack of parking ,locally I think its first come first served but we found parking eventually just down the road.I would stay again ."

"Hi the hotel was lovely and well situated for exploring York. Walkable from the train station too. The room was clean had all the usual amenities apart from a hair dryer. The roof top bar was lovely but it is closed on Mon & Tues. If you are staying more that one night they offer you a drinks voucher if you do not want your room cleaning."
