We stayed for a weekend due to a wedding we were having nearby. The room was clean and enough for what we were planning to do that it was just rest. When we came back from the wedding we stayed for an hour talking in the lobby downstairs with other people from the wedding that stayed in the same hotel, and even though it was during the early morning already the staff was amazing and really nice to us (of course we tried to be as quiet and respectful as possible all the time). Thanks hotel Britannia for a really good experience

We enjoyed our stay and it was excellent value for money. The hotel garden is very nice, but rather than being able to admire the lovely garden down the corridor to the leisure facilities, there is a thick net curtain? The tea and coffee in the room is nice, and freely available in reception There is a small fee for using the pool, and it is very well maintained and the spa area and changing rooms were spotless both times we used them. There's plenty of parking at only a small fee per night.

The hotel was nice and clean and great location for getting around, however I would not recommend the breakfast, worst one we have ever had, overcooked food, only one pastry, the only nice thing was the porridge so definitely not good value for money. Soon as we walked in it smelt like an old peoples home, fusty and old - in need of a good clean. Walls are paper thin, only one pillow each. Bathroom was awful, dirty toilet. Check in was easy enough and we didnt really use the amenities. The only reason we didnt leave and go somewhere else is because it was dirt cheap and we were only staying as it was close to the airport for a early flight. So really you get what you pay for but wouldnt recommend or go back
