The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu

"Highly recommend!!! Amazing!!! It costs only JPY 1,000 per adult by an airport shuttle bus from Haneda International Airport; the bus will stop at the hotel entrance on their basement floor. The room that I stayed overnight was located on the 7th floor, which has the views - both Intercontinental ocean side and Ferris wheel side. It’s a really bonus that the patio area with two chairs and one small coffee table is available where I enjoyed drinking coffee and feeling the breeze. Every single amenity is so useful and great quality, which even women are able to stay overnight without opening their luggage for their shower/bath. Especially, I love a latest Refa hair dryer, standard size of makeup cleansing oil, cleansing foam, face lotion, etc. - they are high end products. For the restaurants, my stay was not long enough to explore all the restaurants within the hotel. The Japanese restaurant that I had dinner was so excellent. (If you rather want to have some snacks or suppers, there are several restaurants connected to the hotel basement within a walk distance.) For the hotel location and up-to-date facilities and amenities + patio, I personally recommend this hotel better than the International Hotel across to the street and other neighborhood hotels. Lastly, for those who prefer English speakers, it’s no problem there."

"This hotel is in a very convenient location. Despite being close to the railway tracks, it was surprisingly quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom and separate toilet were very clean, and I enjoyed taking a bath every night after a long day of sightseeing. The only major issue was a scheduled five-hour power outage in the building. We were not informed of this at the time of booking. Only after our reservation had been confirmed did we receive a notification from the hotel explaining that the information had been available on its Japanese website. However, the website was inaccessible due to security updates, and the hotel claimed that it had been unable to share this information through overseas booking platforms. The hotel offered free cancellation, but by that point, it was too close to our travel dates to find another hotel within a reasonable price range. No alternative compensation was offered. I was disappointed with how the hotel handled this inconvenience, and their response fell below my expectations. That said, aside from this issue, our stay was comfortable, and the hotel was a great choice for our family of three, including our four-year-old child."

"Pros: Steps to a subway stop, convenience store on ground level, quiet rooms, helpful staff, and overall good vibe. Cons: Smell of smoke and strong air freshner throughout the hotel. Toilets ran (both rooms I had)."

"This was our first time staying in Kawasaki area and this hotel, really cool and clean place. The toilet was reallyyy spacious and loved that it wasn’t the usual bathtub with shower layout. We could adjust the bed position such that it can act as a daytime sofa. Room make up is provided if you want, just place the magnet that they provide onto the outside of your door. A small suggestion, perhaps some towels can be placed in shelves at each floor so that guests can help themselves if they don’t wish to have room make up but require a change in towel? Checking in and out process was easy. Location is near 711, Kawasaki station (around 8mins walk) with loads of food options. Overall, loved this place! Will stay here again if I’m back. ☺️"

"Rose Hotel is very conveniently located, close to the subway / rail lines and to the cruise port where we boarded our ship. The staff was very courteous and helpful, giving valuable advice about local restaurants we never would have found by ourselves. The rooms were clean with plenty of space. All in all staying at the Rose Hotel was a great choice for us."
