"The location was very convenient. The family room was spacious and clean. The only thing that needs major improvement was the room service food. We ordered room service on a rainy night. It was super expensive (over 500 yuan for four simple items) and tasted terrible. For that price, you would expect decent food. It was the worst meal we had in Shanghai. We can’t order food delivery because we don’t have a local phone number. We ask staff for the hotel number for delivery but didn’t work and we didn’t really get much help so we ended up ordering room service."

"Modern hotel with great staff. Rooms are quite compact and the advertised address is incorrect. The address advertised on hotels.com is for the donghu hotel not the donghu collection. The donghu hotel is a larger hotel in a historic Shanghai building with restaurants and other amenities. The donghu collection, which is at a different address lacks the charm and amenities of the donghu hotel. It was very confusing and disappointing but is hotels.com's fault for using the wrong address"
