"Really enjoyed my stay here at this property, wish I could have had more time to explore it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The areas were kept clean. The Xplor park was my favorite! However I wish it was communicated or advertised somewhere that Xoximilco and Xel Ha was a great distance from Xcaret Arte Having an hour plus trip there and back wasn’t in my schedule and took away time from enjoying the Xcaret Arte property as I had planned. I definitely will be taking another trip to Xcaret Arte! "

"Limited food at the resort and no frozen drinks but the neighborhood was very walkable for getting outside food and drinks. Staff was amazing and my husband and I because great friends with Jose at Tequilaria. He helped us practice our Spanish and also recommended some of his favorite local eateries. We had an AWESOME time!"

"The staff were all amazing! Very friendly, accommodating, and made you feel like family! The food options were all fantastic! It was a great mix of relaxation and lots of entertainment! The day time activities at the main pool were all engaging and entertaining while still allowing a good atmosphere to relax in. There was a show every evening as well to finish the night off after a delicious dinner! The whole place was clean they did a great job of keeping up with the maintenance. We would absolutely love to come back!"

"Occidental Caret provides a high value vacation at a reasonable price. The beach has a protective cove free of seaweed and rough waves which is great for kids. Food is above average ranging from specialty restaurants to the large buffet in the main building all with AC. Each building has about 50 spacious rooms on three floors with an elevator and an attendant. A large vehicle provides transportation on the property. We especially enjoy bldg 22 (Expedia Building) located near the quiet adults only pool. The view from the beach restaurant is outstanding. "

"Everything was great! Food options, landscaping, entertainment, customer service. We’ve been coming to Barcelo for the past 20 years and it’s still the same furniture. Completely outdated, TV’s have diagonal lines and apparently many are like that so please renovate asap!"
