I stayed at the Jaslin Hotel for three nights and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and located in an excellent area of Chicago's Chinatown. I felt safe walking around the neighborhood both during the day and in the evening, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance.
The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming from check-in through check-out. One convenience I really appreciated was having a Starbucks located right next to the hotel, which made grabbing coffee each morning quick and easy.
We used the parking garage recommended by the hotel, which is about a block away. It was convenient, and the hotel allowed us to pull up directly in front of the entrance to check in and unload our luggage before parking, which made the process much easier.
Before arriving, I had read several reviews mentioning that housekeeping was limited. During my stay, I only saw housekeeping once, so I made it a point to ask for extra towels, toiletries, and other necessities when I had the opportunity. Planning ahead made it a non-issue, but it's something future guests may want to keep in mind.
The room itself was on the smaller side, but it served its purpose perfectly. It was comfortable, clean, and ideal for sleeping and taking breaks between exploring the city. Since we spent most of our time enjoying Chicago, room size really wasn't a concern.
Overall, I would definitely stay at the Jaslin Hotel again."
