"Horrible accommodations it was totally freezing. There’s a half inch gap in every window. The front screen door has a 2 inch gap the freeway is cars are on the side of the house. You hear it all day and all night no blankets were provided. Blowup mattress turned into a taco in two hours. The so-called futon couch is meant for a child and didn’t open up. "My partner and I are long-time locals who decided to stay here for a special celebration. The Lodge is located in the heart of a dense urban area on property that used to be a seminary. The seminary buildings have beautifully restored and are surrounded by acres of forests with walking trails to the beach. Everything was lovely and quiet. The avocado toast was superb. The staff was warm and friendly. Will return again soon."
