"A fabulous find! Right in the heart of the city, only 7 min walk to the Cathedral and Winchester’s vibrant High Street. Comfortable, tastefully decorated room in complimentary style of the Japanese restaurant below. We will definitely be back! "

"The hotel, pub was absolutely perfect. The staff were excellent especially Tarik excuse me if not spelt correctly.
All staff were extremely attentive.
Room was so cozy, a little in the warm side but we didn’t see the thermostat as slightly hidden.
We ate at the pub on Friday, food, drinks all excellent.
Breakfast was fresh and hot.
We will definitely be back."

"It was a very comfortable stay. The hotel’s location if very convenient and the stuff was vert helpful and friendly. I was travelling with my dog and they provided a dog bed and a food bowl for our stay. Highly reccommended!"
"Hotel is in an amazing location. It had a lovely set up with attractive looking bar & lounge area. Breakfast was just right with good hot & cold choices. Room was lovely & comfortable with good views of the cathedral, only slight criticism was the bathroom was a bit tired, there’s lots of marks on the floor & the bath seemed heavily stained but it did still seem clean. All the staff we encountered were all friendly, approachable & professional. We would definitely stay here again."
"Really good hotel, great staff and very clean, well equipped. There were some issues, seemed really understaffed the first two nights, so quite long waits at the bar a, but the bit that really got my goat was the bwto be sergeant major "
"It was a great stay at Queens Road, the host was welcoming and very knowledgeable to assist with the area. The room was clean, tidy and had a lot of amenities.
If you want a check in with minimal contact this is a great way to do it. The venue is also great if visiting people at the hospital and the university. It is so close by.
I was extremely impressed with the amount and variety provided on the breakfast tray. If you are happy with carbs for breakfast this was fantastic. If you are a high protein breakfaster not so much. I would next time ask prior for Decaf coffee and skimmed milk.
The connection for the tv wasn't great but we weren't in the room for long so wasn't a major issue for us.
The bathroom was small but I am a large person but was adequate for what you need. It does look a little dated but was clean.
As there is instructions to access keys etc I think it would be good to have some instructions or a key drop box for when you leave the property at the end of your stay...that way contact is kept to a minimum and also you know that you have left the keys safely.
Overall, I am very impressed with the property and the value for the stay.
Thank you
